LABB

Labb came into being in 1996 as an indie-rock quartet consisting of Dana Labb on vocals and guitar, John Sares on guitar, Jesse Carroll on bass, and Mora Precarious on drums. Sares and Labb first crossed paths as students at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, after which the group quickly established itself on Boston’s bar circuit before moving operations to Brighton in 1999. The following year saw the release of their first album, Sugar High, whose tracks were later picked up by MTV for use in episodes of Undressed. In 2002 the band created its own imprint, Old Tavern Records, and put out the album Driving Your Shadow.
