Biography
Formed as a side project by Israeli-born singer/songwriter Keren Ann together with Icelandic artist Bardi Johannsson—who has scored music for film and television while also issuing recordings as Bang Gang—Lady & Bird issued a subdued self-titled album marked by haunting, childlike voices. The conceptual work portrays two children residing inside adult bodies and came out via Keren Ann’s own Yellow Tangerine label in the U.S. in June 2006.
