Biography
The London dance-rock trio Ladyfuzz features Liz Neumayr on vocals, Matt Lord handling guitar and bass, and Ben Esser at the drums. Austrian-born Neumayr established the project through earlier collaborations with Tom Vek and Bloc Party’s Kele Okereke, who had also been her flatmate. The group’s roster stabilized once Lord and Esser came aboard in early 2005. After issuing the single Monster in December 2005, the band delivered its debut album Kerfuffle in March 2006 on Transgressive Records. Since forming, Ladyfuzz has toured with the Rakes, the Futureheads, and Bloc Party.
