Biography
Laila France, an electronica ingenue, landed her first professional opportunity with avant-popster Momus after replying to a newspaper advertisement seeking a vocalist in the vein of Italian soft-porn films. Drawing on Momus’s production expertise, she issued her debut album Orgonon in 1997 through Bungalow Records and supplied vocals for the self-titled album by the Japanese pop group Fantastic Plastic Machine.
