Biography
The medieval German knight and poet Wolfram von Eschenbach once declared the enigmatic Lapis Exilis "synonymous with the holy grail," an apt title for this clandestine, occult-centered venture based in Germany. Concealed behind anonymity, the project crafts a dark, introspective fusion of darkwave, post-punk, and electro-infused goth rock that recalls Christian Death, Bauhaus, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, and Cold Cave. Its inaugural full-length release, Hexagram, emerged on Cleopatra in 2017.
