Biography
Born Kenneth Green in Los Angeles, sixteen-year-old rapper Laquan issued his sole album, the intelligent, mature, and musical Notes of a Native Son, in 1990. Every track on the LP incorporated a live band and backing singers, while production duties fell to Richard Wolf and Bret Mazur, both prior collaborators with Bell Biv DeVoe.
