Biography
Rock band las Canoplas originated in La Plata, Argentina, when guitarist Carro, drummer Trilo, and guitar player Topi assembled the lineup in 1982. The group first operated as an underground act within their hometown. Andrés and bassist Milanesa entered the fold in 1985. The ensemble earned top honors at the Nuevo Rock contest and cut a vinyl album overseen by producer Mario Serra. BMG then signed the band, issuing the album Batman in 1988. Following a temporary breakup, las Canoplas resumed activity in 1993 and went on to release La Trayectoria del Boomerang in 1996 along with Universo Aniversario in 1998.
