Biography
Canti Lau, recognized alternatively by the names Lau Sek Ming and Lau Sik Ming, worked as both an actor and a singer in Hong Kong across the full span of the 1990s. His birth took place on July 16, 1964, in Hong Kong itself, where his acting work had already started during the 1980s and soon produced an enduring link with TVB that filled his schedule for the following decade. While acting remained his central pursuit, he also secured recognition in music, above all through theme songs. Among these, the standout recording “Moshi Moshi Moshi” served as the theme for the TVB series Happy Returns in 1993.
