Franco-British rapper the Spectre specializes in razor-sharp delivery and meticulous lyricism, channeling the same drive into his vocal delivery as he does the pounding beats behind him. His close partnership with beatmaker Netuh shaped the 2021 EP Cold Days.
Born in Normandy in 1986 to a French mother and Canadian father, the Spectre put out several singles toward the end of the 2000s before unveiling his first full-length project, Buy One Get None Free, in 2011. Output remained sparse over the following decade, though isolated tracks surfaced, among them 2019’s “Mermaids” and 2020’s “Bad Boy.” The five-track Cold Days EP arrived in 2021, its productions supplied entirely by Netuh.
