Biography
Known for her command of modern jazz piano, LeeAnn Ledgerwood has yet to achieve widespread stardom. Her first encounters with the instrument date back to age four. Once she completed her studies at Berklee, she relocated to New York in 1982 and became a regular presence at neighborhood venues such as Bradley’s. International work soon followed, including a Swedish tour alongside Red Mitchell, and she also joined Eddie Gomez’s ensemble. In addition to her role on Gomez’s 1988 album Power Play, Ledgerwood issued her own 1991 Triloka release, You Wish.
