Biography
In the early 1970s Leslie's Motel hovered at the margins of the jam-band realm, blending folk-tinged textures with psychedelic and improvisational leanings. Roy Blumenfeld, who had previously performed with Blues Project and Seatrain, stood out as the ensemble's most prominent musician. The psych-garage imprint Gear Fab finally released the band's long-unheard concept album Dirty Sheets in 2009.
