Lewis

In 1999 Lewis made their entrance via the album Progress & Regress, which displayed their talent for tense, jangly emo rock. Vocalist/guitarist Brett Tohlen, guitarist Matt Beaton, bassist Jeff Truly, and drummer John Owen Parish formed the group, which took its name from author C.S. Lewis and therefore prompted many observers to mistake the project for a solo endeavor. Deep Elm Records issued the band’s second album, Even So, in the summer of 2002.
