Lia Marie Johnson

Californian Lia Marie Johnson works as a singer, songwriter, actress, and online personality. She first attracted an audience while still a preteen after starting a YouTube channel in late 2007. The uploads featured personal commentary, talent shows, comedy sketches, and music performances. That activity earned her a recurring guest appearance on the Fine Brothers’ pop-culture web series Kids React beginning in 2010. She soon exited the teen pop trio Pink Army to concentrate on acting and went on to appear in the spinoff programs Teens React and YouTubers React. During the same period she took acting roles in short films and guest spots on various other web series. Johnson served as a regular cast member on the YouTube series MyMusic between 2012 and 2014, then portrayed the lead character in the Nickelodeon television movie Terry the Tomboy, which premiered on the network in June 2014.

In early 2015 she posted the reflective pop track “Moment Like You.” The song attracted Capitol Records, which signed her and issued her follow-up single “DNA” in 2016. That same year she played the love interest in the film American Wrestler: The Wizard, whose cast also included Jon Voigt and William Fichtner. Among additional projects, she joined the regular cast of the go90 thriller series T@gged. Her second Capitol single, “Cold Heart Killer,” appeared in early 2017 and presented a more atmospheric brand of pop.
