Lia Scallon

Lia Scallon, an Irish singer, composer, actress, and sound healer, earned her degree from Trinity College in Dublin. Her work as a performer brought her onto stages and screens alongside Cate Blanchett, Glenn Close, Liam Neeson, and Frances McDormand. A succession of health difficulties turned her attention inward, prompting a search for new directions in her artistry that soon led her to explore healing modalities and ultimately settle in Australia. Working with the Sounds of Sirius, which she characterizes as a “universal language that transcends all language barriers,” Scallon draws on her rich voice to “shift the vibrational frequency of the listener,” thereby promoting healing, relaxation, and comfort. The first installment of her Sounds of Sirius music series appeared in Australia in 2002. Six further volumes followed, and she issued the compilation album The Sounds of Sirius: Songs to Soothe the Soul in the United States in 2009.
