Biography
Having pursued jazz studies during his college years, Todd Tate transitioned into rock by performing alongside various Bay Area ensembles toward the end of the 1990s. Subsequently, he established the power trio Life Love Misery, completing its roster by enlisting drummer Kenny Stavropoulos, previously a touring percussionist with Starship, along with bassist Mario Previti, formerly of Psychosis. The ensemble further benefited from the contributions of orchestrator Graham Pellettieri, responsible for string arrangements on their initial collection of tracks, prior to issuing their debut self-titled album in 2009.
