Biography
Linda Finkle balances her duties as co-owner and operator of Albany, New York's Space Place Adventure Center against the demands of a parallel music career. The concept for a theme song occurred to her amid work on the children's entertainment venue, triggering a sustained burst of composition that has continued without pause. She began by crafting folky country material rooted in personal incidents, despite having no prior ability to play guitar. Regular appearances at open mikes formed part of her early efforts, but online channels ultimately supplied her widest reach and created mounting interest. Over the ensuing months at Silvertone Studios in New York she assembled Piece of Me, which appeared in 2002.
