Biography
Malcom Felder records under the Lineland alias as an indie electronica producer tied to Audio Dregs. Relocating to Queens, NY, in 1998 prompted him to start tinkering with electronic production methods. Early tracks found their way to friends via self-made CD-Rs, which in turn secured a deal with the independent label Audio Dregs. Pavilion arrived in 2003 as Lineland’s first full-length album. Years afterward, after Felder had settled in Chicago, the follow-up Logos for Love appeared in 2008. Felder also launched the label Mutable Sound alongside his Lineland work.
