Biography
Mariah Parker raps under the moniker Linqua Franqa, channeling both social awareness and a graduate-level command of linguistics into her work. From her home base in Athens, Georgia, she delivered a lighthearted yet densely worded EP under her own name in the opening months of 2017, weaving in archival spoken-word fragments and classic breakbeats. While finishing her master’s program at the University of Georgia, Parker composed and tracked her first album. Early 2018 saw the Athens independent imprint Happy Happy Birthday to Me issue that project, titled Model Minority.
