Biography
After seven years of sporadic collaboration, Jenny Toomey of Tsunami and Grenadine received an invitation from 4AD Records founder Ivo Watts-Russell to launch a side project with Dan Littleton of Hated and Ida. Accepting the offer, Toomey journeyed with Littleton to Livonia, MI, to lay down recordings in the basement studio operated by Warren Defever, guitarist and producer for His Name Is Alive. During those sessions, His Name Is Alive drummer Trey Many joined the effort as Liquorice’s third member. 4AD issued the resulting Listening Cap in mid-1995.
