Biography
A pop singer and songwriter from Long Island named Lisa Palleschi appeared in New York cabarets prior to completing her studies at the Berklee College of Music. After finishing college she went back to Long Island, where she cut a five-song demo in 2003. The recording reached Richie Cannata of Billy Joel’s band, which led Palleschi to work with the co-producers and co-writers Jeff Franzel (Taylor Dayne, Clay Aiken), Adrian Gurvitz (Sheryl Crow, Meredith Brooks), Frank Filipetti (James Taylor, Carly Simon), and Tom Kimmel (Joe Cocker, Linda Ronstadt). In October 2006 she released the album Released, which contains contributions from drummer Nir Z (John Mayer), guitarist Ira Siegel (Donna Summer), bassist Zev Katz (Billy Joel), and keyboardist Steve Skinner (Jewel).
