Litmus

Litmus emerged as a U.K.-based progressive rock five-piece during the initial years of the 2000s, creating boundary-pushing sonic onslaughts drawn from heavy metal, punk, shoegaze, and space rock influences. Theatrical tendencies, marked by complex visual and sonic elements in their concerts, combined with lengthy jam sessions spanning four to thirty minutes, resulted in numerous shared stages with prominent space rock figures including Hawkwind, Julian Cope, and Ozric Tentacles. Anton contributing electronics, Fiddler on guitar and vocals, Marek drumming and singing, Martin on bass and vocals, plus Oli with keyboards and synths make up the group, which put out their introductory full-length You Are Here during 2004, then Planetfall in 2007, and Aurora in 2009.
