Biography
Little Big Adventure serves as the solo outlet for Magnus Satterstrom, who first assembled a small collection of recordings under the moniker back in 2004. His brooding, loose-knit indie pop songs drew from the ethereal indie leanings associated with the Magnetic Fields while also incorporating the raw texture of vintage 8-bit video game sounds, echoing several fellow acts that appeared on Labrador Records’ early-2000s lineup, especially Legends and the Sound of Arrows. After joining the label in the first months of 2009, Little Big Adventure issued its first EP, The Hateful Eye, through Labrador that May.
