Biography
Little Feather serves as the performing alias for Liz Sharpe, a contemporary singer and songwriter raised in Pikeville, Kentucky, who issued her first major-label recording in 2017. Sharpe’s position as second cousin to both Loretta Lynn and Patty Loveless helped steer her toward music during childhood. She took up piano in her early years and performed with the choir at her local church, yet later departed her Appalachian surroundings to pursue studies in Florida. She next relocated to Australia for college, where her focus turned to classical piano. Upon completion of those studies she returned to the United States and established herself in Nashville. There she worked as a session keyboardist for several acts before assembling a five-piece ensemble to accompany Little Feather, consisting of guitarists Sam Brooker, Shannon Campbell, and Pat Boyer, bassist Dylan Rowe, and drummer Aaron Spraggs, who is also Sharpe’s husband. Curb issued the self-titled debut album by Little Feather in April 2017.
