Little Hudson

Genre: Blues
Origin: U.S.A
Listen on Coda
Born on 6 September 1919 in Anguilla, Mississippi, USA, Little Hudson—the name under which he appeared on disc—headed to Chicago after reaching the age of twenty. Once there, he entered the city’s thriving blues circuit and formed his own unit, the Red Devils Trio. In 1953 he cut several sides for the JOB label with that group, whose pianist was Lazy Bill Lucas, yet he stayed largely out of view beyond those sessions. A brief track first cut for a radio commercial later surfaced and received release in more recent years.
