Sisters Olivia Crawford and Georgia Fletcher make up the Hartlepool, U.K. act Liv'n'G. The duo began attracting notice through performances across the North East of England at open-mike sessions and talent contests. Their acoustic mash-ups and covers, with Crawford handling vocals while Fletcher played acoustic guitar and piano, helped build a local following. In December 2016 the pair issued their debut single, "Our Superhero (A Christmas Wish)," a track motivated by young Bradley Lowery’s battle with cancer. The release climbed to the Top 20 on the download charts, and all proceeds supported efforts to secure treatment for Bradley in the U.S. Half a year afterward the sisters followed up with "Smile (For Bradley)," their adaptation of the Charlie Chaplin standard that included an additional verse the duo wrote specifically for him. On release the song entered the Top 30 of the U.K. singles chart, with proceeds again directed toward the fight against childhood cancer. Bradley Lowery succumbed to the disease only weeks later.
