Biography
London Cheshire crafts affectionate pop songs laced with R&B warmth. Beyond music he has worked as both a model and an actor, most visibly through his recurring turn as teenager Marcus Larson on the CBS sitcom Young Sheldon, which preceded the July 2023 arrival of his debut single “Uncomfortable.”
Born in Texas, he relocated with his family to California at the age of eight. There he developed a routine of cycling to a neighbor’s garage to observe guitar practice; the neighbor eventually presented him with an instrument of his own, prompting daily playing. Cheshire also took up his mother’s piano and added drums to his skills.
His first screen credit came at age ten with a small role in the 2017 horror feature The Terror of Hallow’s Eve, which premiered at festivals that year. Subsequent television work included a guest spot on the action series 9-1-1 as the son of Bobby Nash, portrayed by Peter Krause, followed by the 2019–2020 recurring role on Young Sheldon. In 2022 he appeared in the short-lived HBO Max series Gordita Chronicles. During the same period he secured modeling campaigns for prominent apparel and automobile companies, issued a cover of Justin Bieber’s “Christmas Eve,” and began composing original material shaped by the styles of Bieber and Shawn Mendes.
At sixteen, Blackground Records 2.0 signed the artist, issuing the introspective “Uncomfortable” in July 2023; the track later reached the Top 40 of Billboard’s Hot Digital Songs chart. The romance-minded follow-up “25/7” arrived on the label that December.
