Biography
Lori Davidson, born in San Francisco, began her musical education early on by studying classical guitar. Exposure to captivating rock and blues recordings broadcast over the airwaves prompted her to acquire fresh chord progressions, incorporate singing into her repertoire, and prepare performances for her circle of acquaintances.
Throughout subsequent years, Davidson has taken the stage at numerous festivals, fairs, and venues throughout extensive regions of the United States as well as parts of Canada. Her appearances have included both solo sets and collaborations alongside musicians such as Harvey Mandel, John Lee Hooker, Ernest "Boom" Carter, Ken Embrey, and Daniel Castro. Additionally, she fronts her own accomplished blues ensemble under the name Lori Davidson & the Intruders.
Davidson finished recording her initial solo release, Slow Traffic Keep Right, in 1996. This album features conventionally oriented blues compositions including "Mystery Train," "Fire Engine Red," "It's Over Now," "Mojo," and "Baby Talk."
