Biography
Originating from Mexico, the ensemble Los Razos de Sacramento—also called los Razos—rose to prominence through its provocative narco-corrido approach, which fuses norteño foundations with lyrics focused on drug trafficking. The name itself honors Sara Razo, whose assistance enabled the group’s entry into the regional Mexican circuit across the U.S. Previously operating as los Halcones de Michoacan, singer/songwriter Sacramento Ramírez, accordionist Reynaldo Sanabria, drummer Salvador Guillén, singer Marcos González, and bassist Baltazar Pineda delivered their international debut in 1995.
