Lost

Formed in 2004, the teenage group Lost originated in Vicenza, Italy, and rose swiftly within the local MySpace music audience after the 2006 upload of their video "My." Producer Matteo Franzan moved quickly to secure the band, and alongside artistic director Stefano Florio he redirected their early punk rock orientation toward a teen pop sound. The first single, "Oggi," turned into a regular presence on MTV Italy by mid-2007, while the video held the number-one position on Total Request Live for three months. Lost drew intense enthusiasm from teenage Italian girls through both their live appearances and activity across Internet sites and forums. Their debut album, xD, appeared in early 2008 and entered the charts at number 27, registering as the fastest-selling first album in Italy. The bandmembers are Walter Fontana (vocals), Filippo "Spez" Spezzapria (drums), Giulio Dalla Stella (guitar), Luca Donazzan (bass), and Roberto "Roby" Visentin (guitar).
