Loudmouth

Loudmouth, the Chicago metal band, featured frontman Bob Feddersen along with guitarist Tony McQuaid, bassist Mike Flaherty and drummer John Sullivan. The group first appeared before audiences in early 1993 and then spent the following years playing nonstop shows throughout the Windy City circuit, culminating in the independent release of their debut EP 1/2 in 1996. Their self-titled LP arrived the next year and eventually reached the members of Metallica, who offered favorable comments in several magazine articles; that coverage in turn secured the band a contract with Hollywood Records, which issued their major-label debut—also self-titled—in 1999.
