Biography
Born in Brighton, England, producer and songwriter Louis M^ttrs already displayed a calm, assured vocal approach that seemed to exceed his age. Still in his early twenties, he teamed with veteran drum'n'bass duo Chase & Status on the summer 2013 single "Lost & Not Found," which climbed into the Top Ten of the U.K. singles chart. Members Will Kennard and Saul Milton supplied the track’s airy, brisk production, yet M^ttrs helped shape its mournful lyric. The release arrived the same week Chase & Status headlined Glastonbury’s Other Stage, where M^ttrs appeared with them to deliver a poised performance of the song before a national television audience numbering in the millions.
