Biography
The Love Jones Girlz formed as a pop-rap and R&B trio after first crossing paths as students at New York City’s Professional Performing Arts School. Claire Jones, Taylor Nirvana Jones, and Noni Storm hoped to emulate the paths of earlier PPS graduates such as Britney Spears and Alicia Keys. Victoria Strata joined in 2010, expanding the lineup to a quartet for the release of their debut single that year, “The Party Don’t Start Without Me.” The group had reverted to three members by 2014, when they appeared on BET’s 106 and Park with the single “Rumors.” Their next release, the 2015 single “M.A.N.D.S. (She Hustlin’),” was included on the album NC-17 issued the following year.
