Low Gear

Low Gear produces inventive tracks in the alternative metal vein while demonstrating exceptional rhythmic control, anchored by weighty bass lines and drum patterns. The group came together in Dallas, Texas, during the final years of the 1990s, uniting the contributions of Minister Roach on vocals, Rojo on guitar, Mucky on guitar, Goat on bass, and Gotti on drums. Following multiple practice sessions, the Texas outfit committed to capturing its initial three-song demo tape in 1999. By delivering aggressive material at prominent Dallas venues and drawing consistently strong audience reactions, the band gradually assembled a sizable following. Returning to the studio in 2000, Low Gear crafted its debut full-length release, Siktunes, which reached stores the following year.
