Biography
The ensemble responsible for Low Skies’ moody, atmospheric sound brings together Jason Creps on drums, Christopher Salveter on vocals and guitar, Jacob Ross on guitar, Brandon Ross on bass, and Luther Rochester on keyboards. Formed in Chicago in 2000, the band traces its beginnings to a chance meeting between Creps and Salveter. The pair first discussed laying down some recordings, yet the idea lay dormant until several months later, when they recognized the value of pursuing the project as a team. Before 2002 ended, Flameshovel extended an offer to Low Skies, and The Bed reached listeners in fall 2003.
