Lucrecia

Lucrecia, a Cuban tropical singer, first engaged with music through piano and singing lessons beginning at seven years old. The young artist earned an award at the Joseíto Fernandez local contest in 1987. Recognition followed in the subsequent year for her abilities in songwriting and as an instrumentalist. She then became a member of the renowned local orchestra Anacoana, where she performed vocals and handled keyboard duties. It was around this period that she made a temporary home in Barcelona, Spain.
