Biography
In addition to scoring various named revues, Luís Moreira produced notable works such as the songs "Desiludida," "Súplica," and "Olhos Verdes." He served as band conductor during his school years and made his debut leading the choir at Companhia Infantil theater. At age fifteen he composed his initial score, the operetta "Amores de Psiquê," with numerous others coming afterward. Particularly acclaimed was O Jagunço, for which he crafted the music alongside Paulino Sacramento based on a libretto from Artur Azevedo. Among the other revues featuring his compositions were O Maxixe, Vem Cá, Mulatá, Carnaval no trianon, and A Capital Federal.
