Biography
Originating from Cuba, Luisa Maria Güell built an extensive career as a singer, songwriter, and actress marked by repeated achievements and honors. She departed her homeland in 1968 and settled in Spain, where she formed a connection with composer Manuel Alejandro. One entry in her catalog of more than two dozen albums, Ano earned her a 2007 Latin Grammy nomination for Best Tango Album.
