Biography
Born in Pennsylvania, country artist Maggie Austin nurtured an early passion for the style while growing up. The youngest of five siblings, she devoted her childhood hours on the family farm to singing and schooling horses, one of which earned selection as an alternate for the U.S. Olympic squad. Her version of the Grammy Award-winning "Breathe" reached the summit of the MP3.com country charts, attracting critical attention and a swelling listenership ahead of the spring 2002 release of her self-titled six-song demo CD. The spring of 2006 saw the arrival of her first full-length album, Georgia Clay Road.
