Biography
Hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, the indie rock six-piece Make Model assembled in 2007 with a lineup of Lewis Gale (vocals, guitar), James Cameron (bass), Gordon Skene (vocals, guitar), Matthew Casey (guitar), Ray Black (drums), and Aimi Gold (vocals, keyboards). They quickly drew parallels to Broken Social Scene and Arcade Fire. Subsequent appearances at the Connect Music Festival, paired with the release of two singles, led the group to start tracking its debut album alongside producer Rich Costey, which carried a tentative summer release date in 2008.
