Malcolm Morley served as singer, guitarist, and keyboardist for the British band Help Yourself, which released four albums in the early 1970s. After that group dissolved, he took short turns with Man and Bees Make Honey while also working as a sideman for Deke Leonard, Wreckless Eric, and Kirsty McColl, then stepped away from music entirely in the early 1980s. In 1976 he cut a journeyman singer-songwriter album with backing from Ian Gomm and Plummet Airlines, at times recalling the work of a low-key, blander Paul McCartney. Although the project stayed unreleased, its master tapes, long believed missing, turned up 25 years afterward and came out as Lost and Found in 2002. In 2001 Morley issued the solo album Aliens and was reported to be finishing a fifth Help Yourself album.
