Biography
Since 1996 the Las Vegas funk rock quintet Mama Zeus has been refining its distinctive rock and roll approach. The lineup consists of vocalist Nicole Sottile, guitarists Charlie Vantine and William McCleary, bassist Dave St. John, and drummer Vinny Castaldo; together they have shared bills with ex-Four Non Blondes singer Linda Perry, the Mother Hips, Robin Trower, and Sponge. Their self-produced debut album Inside #21 enjoyed moderate success throughout the Las Vegas area and helped build an expanding cult following. Blue Soul Fire likewise highlighted Mama Zeus’ fiery blues-like jams.
