Mankind Liberation Front, a Los Angeles-rooted techno-rock duo, unites composers and producers Ran Pink with Austrian-born Herwig Maurer, both classically trained pianists who first encountered each other during a collegiate music project. RCA issued the group’s self-titled debut recording toward the close of 1999.
