Marble

Formed in September 1993, Marble first operated as an instrumental trio featuring Chad Rivers on bass, Zak Rivers on guitar, and Troy Wasinger on drums. The group’s early approach mixed metallic pop-punk with quirky jazz touches until vocalist Jeremy Jessen came aboard in 1994. After logging two years of shows across their home state of Minnesota, the band issued its self-released debut album Spinning Around. Old Skool Records handled a 1997 reissue of that album, and later the same year Marble appeared on a split EP with the Porcelain Boys.
