Marc Enfroy

An American composer and keyboardist, Marc Enfroy has placed his orchestral piano works on the new age charts. Once an aspiring rock guitarist, he turned to instrumental piano music after losing his sister to cancer. He found comfort through composing and issued his first album, Unbounded, himself in 2008. That record presented reflective piano melodies supported by light orchestral elements, a direction continued on the 2009 follow-up Awakening. Richer textures marked 2011's Unconditional, an album shaped by mental states including "Peacefulness" and "Confidence." The following year brought the nature-inspired Dreams of the Forest, which featured bolder scoring along with contributions from musicians such as flutist Jack Chen. Enfroy reached a career milestone with Crossroads in 2016, whose increasingly cinematic pieces climbed to number two on the Billboard New Age Albums chart.
