France-born philosopher, author, and spoken word artist Margot Anand has driven the resurgence of ancient tantric sexuality practices. More than half a million copies of her three books—The Art of Sexual Ecstasy, The Art of Sexual Magic, and The Art of Everyday Ecstasy—have found readers worldwide. Her spoken-word albums Music for Passion, Spirit and Joy, created alongside Gabrielle Roth, Chris Spheeris, and James Asher, along with Sky Dancing Tantric: A Call to Bliss, convey her teachings through recitations set against musical backdrops. After completing studies at the Sorbonne Conservatory in Paris, Anand spent many years as a disciple of the late Bhagwan Rajneesh, whose influence proved decisive. Drawing on her background in Tibetan Buddhism, Taoism, and Hindu tantric traditions, she has woven humanistic and transpersonal psychology, gestalt therapy, and biogenetics into a distinctive synthesis. Since beginning to teach in 1970, Anand has established Sky Dancing Tantric Institutes across eight countries and has prepared more than one hundred instructors to lead her Love and Ecstasy Training programs.
