Biography
Marie-Pierre Arthur, the singer-songwriter based in Montreal who entered the world as Marie-Pierre Fournier in Grande-Vallée, started out providing backing vocals before issuing her self-titled solo debut in 2009. The follow-up effort, Aux Alentours, arrived in 2012 and received a nomination for that edition of the Polaris Music Prize.
