Biography
Marko Penn functions as a present-day R&B vocalist and composer whose output shifts between the soul-infused approach associated with John Legend and the smoother, gratification-oriented manner of Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign. Since the mid-2010s he has issued singles including "Options," "Started from the Mud," and "Favors," while expanding his audience through featured spots on Crisis McSwagger's "Since You Hate Me," League of Starz's "Throw It Back," and Illy's "You Say When." He joined Janine for the duet "Firebird" on The Birth of a Nation: The Inspired By Album and partnered with B.o.B for the single "Roll Up." During 2017 Penn put out the singles "Friends" and "B2L," the latter featuring Gucci Mane, along with the album Dirty Work, which includes Lil Dicky on its title track.
