Biography
Emerging amid the surge of female New Traditionalists rooted in Nashville during the late 1980s, Marsha Thornton released two albums for MCA. The first, her 1989 self-titled debut, was helmed by legendary producer Owen Bradley, while the second appeared in 1991 as Maybe the Moon Will Shine. Thornton shares with many artists of her generation a clear stylistic debt to Emmylou Harris.
