Biography
Established in Surrey, England during 2003 by guitarist and songwriter Harley, the group delivers modern blues infused with additional recent styles, thereby honoring earlier roots while remaining firmly current. Harley regularly handles slide lap guitar, and the original lineup featured Adam Wolters on bass—who later departed and was succeeded by Graeme Ross—alongside Pete Swatton on drums. The band’s set lists, consisting largely of Harley’s own material, encompass ‘Money Don’t Matter’, ‘If The World’s Gonna Change’, ‘Can’t Help Moving’, ‘Lonely With You’, ‘Blues In My Window’, ‘Carnival Girl’, ‘Somebody New’ and ‘I Call It A Night’. The words of these numbers create sharp pictures of present-day situations that earlier generations of blues performers would instantly recognize.
Beyond multiple dates across the UK in venues, clubs and on broadcast outlets, the musicians have toured Australia and performed at the 2006 La Fete De L’Humanite in Paris, France.
