Biography
Maryline Blackburn’s path as an R&B vocalist was molded by a distinctly global childhood that began with her birth in Europe and continued with her upbringing in Alaska. Across her recording career she issued exactly two albums, beginning with the self-titled Maryline and continuing with Russian Rhapsody, both of which were captured and presented live in Moscow. Her work took her to numerous international venues, where she appeared onstage alongside such celebrated figures as Bob Hope, Cab Calloway, and the Platters. In addition to her vocal and performance abilities, Blackburn distinguished herself as an actress, taking parts in the feature films Made in Heaven and School Daze.
